Santamedical Adult Deluxe Aneroid Sphygmomanometer with black cuff and Carrying case

The Santamedical Adult Deluxe Aneroid Sphygmomanometer with Caring Case is perfect for any nurse, or family member that is skilled in taking blood pressures. Since I was a home-health and hospice nurse, I have owned several of these Sphygmomanometer, and since they are old and worn out, I thought about getting a new one. I like that it comes with a nice zip-up bag, and that the readings appear to be accurate compared to the other ones that I have. Hopefully this one will last for a few years as well.

So basically how you use this product is that you line it up on the patient's or persons forearm, grab your stethoscope and secure the blood pressure cuff. Some people pump it up to 210, I pump my up to 180 unless I know that the patient or person has high blood pressure already. I then slowly listen for what sounds like a heart beat. The first number is your diastolic reading and the last sound you here is the systolic reading. You will then have a reading something like this ( this is actually my reading) 110/84. There is your blood pressure reading.

I like a manual far better then an automatic machine that can check your blood pressure, I just have always found this more accurate.

My family and I received this product at a reduced rate in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.
