AVASIA Prenatal DHA Review + Giveaway

The Avasia Prenatal DHA, is just the DHA portion which can be added to the prenatal vitamin for the complete nutrition for mom and baby. Normally in the past I have had a difficult time taking any prenatal vitamins due to the nausea and constipation that it had caused when I was pregnant. I would instantly purge right after taking it. I can honestly report that since I have started taking these products, I have showed no side effects as of this moment, plus it seems to be very gentle on the stomach. It does state in the directions to take with a meal due to the Omega in the vitamin is better absorbed. I have noticed that the capsules are a bit bigger then the regular multivitamin, but not so bad that you can not swallow it, as these are gelcaps and I like that there is no after taste noted, but does have a mild lemon taste.

As a nurse, mother of two and currently expecting, I know the importance of taking prenatal vitamins especially an addition with DHA. Women who are of child bearing age, pregnant or plan to conceive 3 months prior to conception should take these in addition to their prenatal vitamins not only to help their skin and nails but to promote their overall health, well being, and the health of their unborn child. The bottle comes in a 60 day supply, and should not be taken within 1 hour from taken other medications. I also like that they are vegetarian capsules, so it wonderful knowing that any mother can give their baby the best! Plus this prenatal DHA is not only great during pregnancy, but it is excellent for an breast feeding mom, as it gives you and your baby the extra DHA which helps with brain function and developing eye growth since it can be excreted in the breast milk. This product is used in conjunction with their other prenatal vitamin.
