The Little Santa Claus by Joanna Eff

Joanna Eff is a new and up coming writer that has turned her daughters bedtime rituals of story time into her own fairy tale collection of books.  She has come out with her second book, Little Santa Claus. This book, written for the 2014 Christmas Holiday Season is simply adorable. It has a sweet story line, with wonderful illustrations that are both bright and vivid. My ten year old daughter enjoyed reading her books so much, that she continues to ask if there are any other books out by Mrs. Eff. I believe that this book would be perfect for anyone ages 2-10 who loves Christmas as much as we do.

Little Santa Claus is about a young elf named Elfie, who loves Christmas. One night, Elfie decides that he was going to take a walk, so he ventured deep into the woods, and came upon a stable. There were several animals talking, whom seemed to be upset. Elfie curious as to why, is determined that he is going to find out why the animals are upset, and is going to try and make it right! Does Elfie have enough time before Christmas arrives to make it right?
