The SKORCH Dry Bag Review & Giveaway

The SKORCH Dry Bag is perfect for anyone on the go who loves water sports, boating, camping, or even spending a little bit of time down at the river, beach, or pool. I had the opportunity to check out the SKORCH bag in exchange for my honest and unbiased review, so here it goes. Over the weekend, we took my kids down to the river to do a little fishing and have a picnic, although it is in the middle of January, it was 64 degrees, and we knew the trout were biting. Plus we needed to kill sometime before Monster Jam started. Since this was going to be an all-day outing, I know that what ever bag I take must stand up to the abuse of being thrown around, with stand my children wanting to sit on it, because they are too tired and too lazy to walk and bring their own chair, or possibly end up wet like my last bag did with my camera in it....Needless to say at that moment, this momma was not a happy camper.

So the SKORCH Dry Bag is a very large bag. It can hold up to thirty liters, and is not like most bags that I have had. The cool thing about this bag is, it has double straps and is more of a backpack so it is easy to carry. It is made out of heavy PVC plastic material, like the stuff they make tarps out of, is super lightweight and weighing in at only 2.2 pounds, I like the white color as I feel that during the summer it can reflect light and keep my gadgets cool. The kids had fun with it over the weekend, and although my phone and camera phone were not in it... (just in case) they tied rope to it, and actually threw it into the water, and it worked great! It did float away, although it had a change of clothes in it for each of us. Thankfully the kids did not lose my bag, and the bag kept all my belongings secure and dry! It is not a zippered up type of closer, it is more of a turn, turn, turn, lock the clip sorta thing, but overall my kids and I are extremely happy with the quality of this bag! The lining is stitched wonderfully and all you have to do is wipe it down. This bag is definitely ideal for anyone in the fishing industry, loves doing water sports, or going down to the lake, river, or beach!
