Awakening Book two of the Dragonath Chronicles by Andi O'Conner

I had the opportunity to read a new up and coming book called "Awakening" by Andi O'Connor. Awakening is the Second Book in the Dragonath Chronicles. Since I haven't read the first book, I was actually a little lost, so I decided to go and get the first book which is called "The Lost Heir". Once I read the first book, I was able to discover everything that I confused about, when I had originally read the second book, the first time.

So now that I am finally caught up, Book two of the Dragonath Chronicles is actually really good. You are dealing with two worlds, Dragonath, and Earth, and Darrak is trying to save both worlds from the destruction of the Halla Magic. Dragonath's last heir Darrak, was originally taken from Dragonath and put on Earth to be protected. An appearance of a Dragon would actually change the war between the two worlds and the Halla Magic, and the war would be in their favor, but Darrak realizes that not only does he not fit in, he also realizes that everyone who had taken an oath to protect him, that most of them, their oath was not genuine. I could go on and on, because this is a great book and extremely well written, but I don't want to give anything away.

This fantasy book with a touch of sci-fi is an excellent read, towards the end of the book, it kind of left me hanging and wanting more, but I guess, I will have to wait till a third book has been written. I can't wait till book 3 comes out!
