Doing some research on this product, I have come to the possible idea, that this may take care of his moderate problem that he is having. At first I was a bit skeptical when I received the bottle, and a bit weary of using the stuff on his face. So after reading the email that I had received with all the instructions and warnings, and all the other stuff, Aden and I decided that since school let out Friday for Winter break, we would do the first treatment that night (just in case something went terribly wrong). A day or two after the first peel, I began to notice that his face was indeed clearing up.
The lighter scares after the first peel, were almost completely gone and the darker scares were even lighter. As you can tell, his face is practically clear after two treatments!
So the Application indicates that you are too:
Step 1: Cleanse the face, neck, and gently pat dry.
Step 2: Apply a small amount with a brush or cotton ball to the area and leave on as needed. Rinse product with water and pat dry after. Leave on for 1 minute for your first peel and slowly increase the time of each peel afterwards by 1-2 minutes as needed. General recommended time is 4 weeks between each peel. Please keep in mind, these are general guidelines, and everyone's skin is different. Skin patch tests are the most accurate method and minimize risk.
We did not wait the full four weeks, as he wanted to due it after two weeks. So after waiting the two weeks, the second peel I did on him, his lighter spots were ALL GONE!!!! and the darker appearing spots their areas were very, very light
Plus, this did not bother him at all, and there was no irritation at all to his skin noted. When doing a peel, I needed to remind him that he needed to make sure that he stayed outta the sun for 12-24 hrs afterwards, as this CAN and WILL cause your skin to burn and it will not be pretty! He did use some sunscreen the two weeks after the initial peel, just to minimize any sun exposure.
There are also some more precautions that the company wishes for their customers to follow:
Keep the peel at least a quarter of an inch away from the eyes and mucus membranes.
If skin irritation occurs remove the product by neutralizing with cool water immediately and consult a physician.
Do not apply the peel more than once in a 7 day period
Do not expose your face to the sun for 24 hours before or after the application of the peel.
Do not apply the peel to the skin that has been waxed or shaved within 24 hours
When using the peel a stinging sensation may occur, this is normal
